It has been three winters since Naru, a young Comanche warrior, achieved the impossible: defeating the ultimate apex predator and returning home a legend. She has since risen to become a respected War Chief, her name whispered with reverence across the Great Plains. But the silence of the wilderness is about to be shattered once more.

The creature Naru defeated was merely a scout. Now, the skies darken as a new, ruthless clan of Yautja descends upon the Earth. Armed with arsenal far superior to their predecessor and driven by a code of conquest rather than sport, they threaten to extinguish all life in their path.
