He is pulled back when a race of giant hybrid creatures, called Hyena, begins to attack across North Africa. These creatures are not just ferocious — they are controlled by someone.
Ana de Armas plays Dr. Selene Marquez, a tactical biologist, is the first to realize that Hyena is not a natural creature. She whispers while examining a sample of monster DNA:
“Someone engineered this… someone who knows what they’re doing.”
THE SECRET BATTLE: WHO IS CONTROLING HYENA?Making a brief appearance is Mahershala Ali as Asher Dane, the leader of a mercenary organization with secret biotechnology. He calmly tells the board of tycoons:
“Fear is a currency. And I just created the perfect weapon.”
Countering him is Gerard Butler as Colton Briggs, the commander of the Alliance task force. Briggs goes to Mercer:
